We aim to cater for all our visitors, the following is a brief summary of our provision, more information about each of our flats / apartments can be found in our brochure and on our website.
Empress Holiday Flats is a three storey building. We have one ground floor flat. Flat 1. There is no lift to the first and second floors. Flats 3-5 on the first floor are accessed via a standard carpeted household staircase and landing. Flat 6 and apartment 7 on the second floor are accessed via a second standard carpeted household staircase landing and an additional three carpeted steps.
We offer free off road parking in either of our two on-site parking areas. The parking area to the side of the building is closest to the main entrance door and best suited to guests holding blue badges, whereas our second parking area is located at the rear of the building and access is gained by walking approx 100 yards. There are no parking restrictions on the street outside the front of building. Assistance with luggage is offered to all guests.
Leading up from the side parking area, there is one concrete step upto the patio area. There are two wide painted concrete steps with hand rails leading into the sun lounge. There is one small carpeted step from the reception area into the hallway which leads onto our ground floor unit. All areas being brightly Lit and with emergency lighting. All numbers on doors to flats are raised for easy identification.
Flat 1 on ground floor is accessed off the hallway. Flat 1 is fully open plan with private shower room. This flat has laminate floor, television with freeview and subtitles. Assistance dogs are welcome.
We operate a strictly NO SMOKING policy in the whole building. There is however, outside the front of the building an non-sheltered patio area with seating and a wall mounted cigarette bin for guests use.
